Bright Africa Foundation is partnered with both the Bible Society of Rwanda for printed Bibles and Faith Comes by Hearing for our solar-powered Proclaimer audio Bibles. With amazing donors, we have delivered over $10k worth of printed and audio Bibles. Our outreach spreads far beyond our villages, as we continue to deliver and minister to everyone around us. The transformation the Gospel has in our area is amazing. It is bringing families together and restoring hope.
The printed Bibles cost between $7 and $10 a piece, depending on how many we purchase in the Rwanda capital city of Kigali. The Bibles typically need replacement every couple of years as they simply get worn out from so much use and sharing in the rugged environment. What a beautiful problem to solve!
The rugged solar Proclaimer audio Bibles come in three sizes and range from $40 to over $100 a piece, but have a huge impact. The Gospel can now be heard in their native heart language right in their homes and villages. This allows everyone to hear without the barrier of literacy. The audio Bibles are hand-delivered from the U.S. by our Bright Africa U.S. based team.
