At the Bright Africa Foundation Hair School, we empower aspiring entrepreneurs in our local villages with the professional skills to master hair styling and sustainable hair maintenance in the Rwandan environment. By turning a traditional craft into a viable trade, our hands-on training program provides students, particularly young women, with the technical expertise and business basics needed to launch their own local salons or work for salons in the city of Butare. Through affordable, accessible education, we aren't just teaching haircare; we are fostering financial independence, boosting community confidence, and building thriving local economies from the roots up.

The very first Spring 2026 class is underway. The classes cost $200 over the course of six months. That supplies the materials, hair products, and printed books to teach this course. Your donations will help provide hope and encouragement for these young women to provide an income for their families.
